Costella William Davis (Poochie), Sr., 74 of Warrenton, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 19, 2021. Born on August 18, 1946 in Manassas, Virginia he was the son of the late James Bumbrey and Leona Davis Blackwell. He was predeceased in death by his brothers, Leon E. Davis, James A. Davis, Melvin J. Davis, one sister, Clarice Davis and his stepfather, Lester Blackwell.

Costella was educated in the Manassas School System and was employed as a Brick Mason by trade. He took an early liking to horses and boxing. Spending time early in life at his Grandmother Sally and Grandfather Frank's house he developed a love for horses. He and his daughter LaTonja would have their annual Kentucky Derby call to pick their winners. Mohammad Ali was his all-time favorite boxer. He never went without watching his Washington Redskins, always comparing everyone to Joe Namath.

He leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Costello William Davis, Jr. and Shawn Darren Davis of Manassas, VA, and Joseph James Davis of Woodbridge, VA; One daughter Latonja Danielle Davis (James), Stafford, Virginia and one Step-Daughter Darlene Davis of Manassas, VA; three brothers, Eugene Davis (Debbie) of Washington, DC, Calvert Davis (Glenda) of Calverton, VA, and Donald Davis of Midland, VA, one Uncle Ernest Davis (Thelma) of Manassas, 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die."
