Erik "Turtle/E-Man/Big E" Gist son of Willie "Meno" Noise IV and Monica Gist was born in Alexandria, Virginia on December 1, 1991. Erik was sent home to be with the Lord and family on May 16, 2021.

Erik graduated from South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia. He also attended the Paul Mitchell School. Erik loved his family, rollerblading and especially skateboarding. His proudest moment was on January 16, 2009 when his daughter Leah Marie Gist, the spitting image of him was born. Erik was loved by all. No matter where he went or whom he met he always left a positive and lasting impression. He will be loved and missed by all.

Erik leaves behind his father Willie "Meno" Noise IV , his mother Monica Gist, stepfather Rodney Jones, stepmother Brenda Dorsey, and daughter Leah Marie Gist; his special love Jennifer Allison, 7 brothers Kerry Antwan Kerry, Rodney Jones II, William Jones, Jordan Gist-Jones, Willie Eric Noise V (deceased), Lil Meno Noise; 3 sisters Menisha Jones, Brailey Gist-Jones, and Manii Noise. Erik also leaves to cherish his memory his Grandparents Willie Noise III, Linda Woodyear, Roosevelt Gist Jr, Charles and Beverly Ann Grinston; his Godmother Goldie Harrison and Godfather Mornell Crawford; Aunts Cheylon Crawford Jackson, Shanda Crawford Cullum, Tracey Noise, and Paula Gist Strokes and Uncle Cedric Grinston; as well as Great Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Cousins and Friends.

Floral arrangements will be received at Ames Funeral Home, 8914 Quarry Rd, Manassas, Virginia 20110 no later than 2pm on Friday, June 11, 2021.

The funeral home will be following Covid-19 measures. Temperatures will be taken at the door, masks will be required, and social distancing will be
practiced. A private viewing for the family will begin at 2pm continuing until the public viewing begins at 3pm for the remainder of the celebration.
