Condolence & Memory Journal

My deepest sympathies to the entire Parker Family. I was deeply saddened to hear of Roberts passing. Unfortunately, I do not do Facebook, but thanks be to God my sister Michelle is a dire FB user and relayed to me the unfortunate passing of Robert which was certainly shocking to hear. Pam, we were bestfriends in from the 4th grade to high school and I was grateful and proud to have been a bridesmaid in you and Robert's wedding. How ironic was it to find out that he and my husband attended the same High School and knew each other very well from gym class and After reading the tributes, he stayed true to his sports and was a mentor as well as great influence amongst so many. Although we drifted apart after the years, to this day I still consider you my childhood BFF and pray for your strength as well as for your two beautiful children. Robert's legacy will live forever. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away but you will be reunited someday. Our paths may never cross again my dear friend and sister but please know I will be praying for you and love you dearly and just a phone call away. So, until then stay strong, forever blessed and know you're in the best hands of the Lord Our God who will never leave you or forsake you. Lovingly, your BFF from the good ole days Sharon Chance Henley.....incidentally, I changed my name 25 years ago to SHAY. (smile)

As I watch Roberts service I see nothing has changed as I can see of my childhood neighbor. I can see that over the years he continued to touch the lives of so many others just by the show of love in the room. While years and miles apart we still remained family as we were such a close knit family on 134th Avenue. To the his Wife and Children I know it's a pain that hurts deep, one which only time can heal. Cherish those years and precious moments he will forever be in your Hearts as he has remained in ours. My deepest Condolences to you all. I know we haven't met but you are are a part of the Parker family and that means your my family as well, I will continue to keep you all in prayer. Until we meet again my Dear Friend May you Rest in Eternal Peace.

My condolences to the family, may Coach Parker rest in heaven. I was so grateful that he came into my son's life as his coach when he the time I had lost my wife and my son was having a difficult time adjusting. Coach Parker reached out to me and took my son under his wing placing him on his JV basketball team. It was a great outlet for my son, Coach Parker made a difficult time much more bearable. Thank you Coach for your kindness and for being a caring person. Shaun and I will miss you. God Bless

My condolences Pam, Michaela and Max. Robert was very loved, respected and know his presence will so dearly be missed. We were sadden to hear of his passing so early in his life. The last time I visited, we had a nice conversation and he kissed my cheek before he left which endeared him to me. You guys were so blessed to have known each other for so long and I hope those memories comfort each of you for years to come.

Aunt Pam, Max, Michaela, I am thinking of you all. I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make the trip up to be there with everyone. Uncle Robert was one of a kind and the memories that we made and shared will be something I will always cherish. He's left an un-erasable mark on our family and helped shape many of us, his nephews and nieces, into the people we are today. I will miss him dearly. Until we meet again, Rest in Paradise, Uncle Robert.

In November 2004, we moved into the same subdivision with the Parkers. In fact, Robert was our the first HOA President. I will miss watching you shoot basketball from your driveway and helping each other clear out snow. What I will miss the most is our conversations. I offer to Pam, Michaela and Maxwell our condolences in the loss of your husband and father. May God provide you with the strength and encouragement that surpasses all understanding.
