"My aunt Joyce was such a special woman to me. She always had me laughing with the crazy hilarious stories should would tell me. I couldn't help but laugh and smh (shake my head). I have memories of her and my grandma better known as Miss Sis talking for hours on the phone when I was up there spending the night at grandma's. They would be just a laughing at all the crazy stuff. I'm going to truly miss my aunt Joyce. She left me with one saying that I will take with me, and that is the word, Now! If she would tell us about something that happened and it made you feel like saying Wow! you replace it with Now! LOL. I'm never going to let our family forget her word, Now! Rest on my dear aunt Joyce. You've touched many lives for sure, especially the young people's. Say hello to my grandma/grandad for me! I love you and miss you already."

"To Momma, who I called Annie Mae. I will always remember the talks and laughs we had. You have now found your new home in heaven. You are with your parents and all your brothers and sisters who welcomed you with smiles on their faces, saying come little sister, we have been waiting for you."

"Nothing in this world will ever compare to the love of my grandma. We had a bond that only we will ever understand. She was my best friend, my role model, my confidante. It's a blessing that God chose me to be her granddaughter. To experience life with her, to watch and learn from her, and to be able to carry the torch that's been passed down to our family. I love you so much, Grandma. We will always be Frick and Frack, and you are always my right hand. Thank for being so kind, selfless, and compassionate to everyone you met, and for showing me what it means to be a woman of God. I pray for strength for myself, my family, and all those that knew her. Though she may be away from her earthly body, she is at home with the Lord. Getting all those stars in her crown. Hold my place for me. I know you'll greet me with open arms. I long for that day. Thank you to everyone for your condolences, kindness, and prayers. I love you from the bottom of my heart, Grandma."
