"Some of my fondest memories of attending First Baptist Church of Merrifield as a young person was experiencing the choir's performance on first Sundays under the direction of Guy V. Collins, Jr. He brought a regalness to the role, and the joy I felt from his music was nothing short of heavenly. It is with these memories that I hold dear, I offer my sincerest condolences to his family and friends."
